The Enemy of the State Commemorative Silver Round is just what a silver medallion should be, 1 troy ounce of silver in a beautiful, elegantly designed die. This coin was created by the traditional process of hand modeling the design in a clay sculpture, a true art form that is quickly being replaced by computer graphics programs. The sculpture was in production in 2010 and the project shelved, now finally completed in 2012. Hence the 2010 date. (On future mintings the 2010 may be removed)
This is one special round, unlike the other LvMI medallions, the Enemy of the State Round has no currency or "face value" stamped on the reverse. It simply tells you the weight ( 1 TROY OZ .999 SILVER) and lets the market set its value!
This mint-quality, mirror finish medallion is beautiful to look at and hold, a reminder of what constitutes honest money in a society of fiat paper. It is the perfect collector's Rothbard medallion, it comes encapsulated and in a beautiful black velvet case. Get yours quick, our supply is limited!
