Description

Turgot was the last finance minster in France under the old regime but had his advice been followed, he might have spared the country the French Revolution. He was a liberal, a radical, and proto-Austrian.

The slogan on the shirt sums up his public cause: "Commercial Freedom."

You will find a bust of Turgot in Jefferson's own home. Yes, he was that huge a figure among genuine revolutionaries. He deserves credit not only for being a stalwart liberal but also for his scientific contributions to economics, which surpassed those of Adam Smith.

All shirts are 100% cotton pre-shrunk. Chest sizes are:

  • 34"-36" - Small
  • 38"-40" - Medium

Champion of Natural Rights and Natural Law
I love this brightly colored shirt. It helps start conversations. A US constitutional law professor was quick to mock Turgot when he saw Turgot's portrait across my chest. When a practicing lawyer and professor of law does not know Turgot it shows how strong the need is for Mises.org and the Mises University.

Great Fit, Great Look
I bought the Turgot T, the Rothard T, the Stabilization is Chaos long sleeve. Great quality, and good conversation starter.
